We are home!! Ship docked at 6:30 this morning and yes, I was awake to watch it. We got off the ship about 9:30, found our luggage and made it through customs and immigration. Then the worst part of the trip...waiting for the shuttle to take us back to the hotel where we left our car. We stood outside the terminal for 2 hours until they picked us up. Needless to say, we had shorts and t-shirts on and it was very chilly. Finally got our car and headed home with a slight detour...had to stop and see the grandkids!!
Very nice to be home, sad that vacation is over though. We were wondering about 6pm tonight (our dinner time on the ship) where the menu was to make our dinner choices. Ahhhh, but my bed looks so cozy, much more so than the one we slept in for the last 7 nights. Both of us are still dealing with the motion of the ship, regardless of whether we're sitting or standing. That should fade in a couple of days.
Lots of laundry to do tomorrow and we are sleeping in. Then it's back to work on Tuesday. Back to reality I guess!!
